This is the story of my Mom's brother, old Uncle Bill, Billy Rafferty, a hard drinkin' Irishman... For years he told me about a trailer he had down in Mexico, in a town called Ensenada, just south of Tijuana. He said "Jimmy, I have this trailer on the beach down in Mexico, it's stocked full of beer and tequila. Anytime you want I'll give you the keys. You can go down for a week or two, get drunk and chase the señoritas around the beach... I said "Thanks, Uncle Bill..." but I never took him up on it. Next year he said "Jimmy, when are you going down to the trailer ?". I said "Soon, maybe tomorrow, next month... you know...mañana." Well, mañana never came, and eventually old Uncle Bill passed away, and they sold the trailer, and I guess they drank all the beer and tequila, and all I have left is this stupid song...(sob, sob)...

Jimi Hendrix is Jimmy Limo's favorite artist.

This song is a version of the Na Pali CD tack "Sunset Ridge" with a surf music flavor added to the soft jazz mix.

To my knowlege, this is original, unpublished surf music by Jimmy Limo, titled "Last Wave".

Ah, if only I could go back in time to those innocent days when women were women and the chrome was thick.

Santo & Johnny were an instrumental guitar duo best known for their hauntingly atmospheric instrumental 'Sleepwalk' which entered Billboard's Top 40 on August 17th, 1959.
